Welcome to A Brighter Community

On behalf of A Brighter Community, LLC (ABC), I wish to welcome you to a "brighter" concept in adult day services.

Whether you are an individual with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD), a parent, or a care provider, we think that you will find that ABC sets the gold standard for adult day services in Colorado. Not only do we offer more time for our friends, we also have a strict mission of providing safe, healthy, and meaningful activities that protect the dignity of the people in our program.

We are open Monday-Friday, which makes us a more convenient option for working parents who need flexibility and who desire a safe place for their loved one while they are away. We also offer before-and after-hours recreation or respite as an SLS or private pay option for working families and busy caregivers, including RECREATION FRIDAYS!

We are located in the Margaret Walters Recreation Center in Arvada, Colorado. Our friends enjoy a pleasant, amenity-filled base site in addition to engaging in recreational, educational and volunteer activities out in the community. We focus on the individual's needs, with an emphasis on inclusion, physical fitness, healthy social/emotional and ADL skills, and other activities that target each person's goals as outlined in their Individual Plan. Our friends are treated as adults -- adults with protected human rights, and as such, they choose their activities every day, and they provide ongoing feedback to us regarding their satisfaction and/or need for changes.
